Mumbai, Aug 16 (NationPress) The renowned Bollywood actor Hrithik Roshan has shared his thoughts on his character Kabir from “War 2”, describing him as one of his most treasured roles on screen.
Hrithik revealed that this character was first introduced in 2019 with the film “War” and has significantly inspired him as an actor and performer.
Taking to X, previously known as Twitter, the star posted a still from “War 2”.
He expressed: “In Kabir's realm, victories may be achieved... yet the war persists. A character that emerged in 2019 has only intensified my passion as an Actor & Entertainer. Experiencing your applause and celebrations in theaters makes Kabir grow taller and fills my heart with joy.”
“Kabir has been and always will be one of my most beloved on-screen personas. Thank you for your affection and support for #War2 and Kabir,” he added.
“War 2” is an action-packed thriller directed by Ayan Mukerji. It marks the sixth entry in the YRF Spy Universe and serves as a sequel to War. The film features Hrithik Roshan, NTR, and Kiara Advani in lead roles, alongside Ashutosh Rana and Anil Kapoor.
The storyline revolves around Kabir Dhaliwal, a former intelligence officer who, after going rogue, becomes a significant threat to national security, prompting special units officer Vikram Chelapathi to be assigned to neutralize him.
In just two days, “War 2” has amassed Rs. 115 crore nett in India. The Hindi version has garnered Rs. 75 crore nett, while the Telugu version has made Rs. 40 crore so far.
