Hrehaan Roshan, son of Bollywood star Hrithik Roshan, has stepped into the music world as an independent singer-songwriter and guitarist, releasing his debut single 'This Heavenly Place' — a track he wrote in 2024 that he describes as being rooted in commitment and intimacy. The launch marks the beginning of a four-song EP the young artist plans to roll out over the next two months.

The Story Behind the Song

Hrehaan shared a black-and-white visual from the track on his social media, along with a personal note explaining the creative impulse. In his own words: 'This Heavenly Place' is 'a song about commitment to somebody you love. It's about the exhilarating nature of intimacy and how the last thing you want when you're with that person is to snap out of that delirious state of trance you're both in. That heavenly place of blanket and bed. That high of oxytocin.'

He further elaborated: 'And how "Yes I have to go now but I'd so much rather waste in your space for a little longer." It's a song I wrote in 2024. It's the first of four in an EP project I'll be rolling out in the next 2 months. I hope you stay with. Lots coming.'

Family Rallies Behind His Debut

The announcement drew an outpouring of support from the Roshan family. Hrithik Roshan, mother Sussanne Khan, and grandfather Rakesh Roshan all publicly celebrated the debut. His great-granduncle Rajesh Roshan went on to become one of the industry's most prominent composers. Hrehaan, however, is charting a distinctly independent course — writing, composing, and performing his own material rather than entering Bollywood's established production pipeline.
