Chennai, Jan 29 (NationPress) If the latest whispers in the film industry are accurate, the team behind director Vignesh Shivan's romantic feature Love Insurance Kompany (LIK) is diligently working to have their film premiere globally on February 12, just in time for Valentine's Day.

Industry insiders suggest that the filmmakers are particularly focusing on this date for a release during the Valentine's weekend.

However, as of now, there has been no formal announcement regarding the film's release.

It's worth noting that the film's release has already been postponed several times.

Initially, it was slated for a September 18 release last year, but the date was shifted to October 17 for Deepavali. Just as it seemed ready for that date, the decision was made to delay it once more due to a scheduling conflict with Pradeep Ranganathan's film Dude, which also aimed for that release.

To avoid a clash between two of Pradeep Ranganathan's films, the team behind Love Insurance Kompany (LIK) opted for a new release date of December 18 last year.

Yet again, the release was pushed back to February of this year.

The anticipation for the film is high, especially since it stars Pradeep Ranganathan, who boasts a flawless success rate in the Tamil cinema world. All of his previous films have been hits, with his latest, Dude, becoming a significant blockbuster.

For those unfamiliar, LIK is a highly awaited romantic comedy featuring Pradeep Ranganathan and Krithi Shetty in leading roles. The film is produced by actress Nayanthara, who is also Vignesh Shivan's wife.

Last April, director Vignesh Shivan shared a detailed post announcing the beginning of post-production work on the film. He expressed gratitude to his team for their dedication, enthusiasm, and commitment.

He stated, "An abundance of passion, love, honesty, and hard work from everyone has shaped #LoveInsuranceKompany. Each day of shooting presented challenges, but we maintained our joy and relished the process!"

The director emphasized that without the collective efforts of the entire cast and crew, the magic they aimed to create would not have been achievable.

"Without compromising even a single frame, we are proud to have given our utmost to create an original and refreshing entertaining movie," Vignesh Shivan remarked, adding, "Post-production work commences with all your love and support!"

In addition to Pradeep Ranganathan and Krithi Shetty, Love Insurance Kompany will also feature stars S J Suryah and Gouri Kishen in significant roles.

The film prides itself on a remarkable technical team, with cinematography by renowned cameraman Ravivarman and music composed by Anirudh. The editing is handled by Pradeep Ragav, and thrilling action sequences are choreographed by well-known stunt master Peter Hein.
