Vignesh Shivan's Romantic Flick 'Love Insurance Kompany' Delayed to April 10
Synopsis
Key Takeaways
Chennai, March 29 (NationPress) The premiere of director Vignesh Shivan's eagerly awaited romantic film 'Love Insurance Kompany (LIK)', starring Pradeep Ranganathan and Krithi Shetty in leading roles, has been rescheduled to April 10.
Previously, it was reported by IANS that the film's release might face further delays, and indeed it has been moved from April 3 to April 10.
Vignesh Shivan took to Instagram to share the news: "#LIK from April 10. Trust Me Bro. An @anirudhofficial musical. A @wikkiofficial original. A @r_varman_ visuals."
He also posted a humorous video announcement featuring music director Anirudh, actor Pradeep Ranganathan, and himself, marking the new release date.
The project has seen multiple postponements since its initial schedule. Originally set for a September 18 release last year, it was changed to October 17 for Deepavali. However, a clash with Pradeep Ranganathan's other film 'Dude' necessitated another delay.
To prevent a face-off between the two films, the release of 'Love Insurance Kompany (LIK)' was shifted to December 18. Subsequently, it was again pushed back to February this year, with hopes for a Valentine's Day launch, which ultimately did not materialize.
Last week, Vignesh announced that the film would debut on April 3, but it has now been further delayed to April 10.
The anticipation surrounding the film is palpable, especially since Pradeep Ranganathan boasts a perfect success record in the Tamil film industry, with his latest release 'Dude' achieving blockbuster status.
In addition to Pradeep Ranganathan and Krithi Shetty, 'Love Insurance Kompany' will also feature S J Suryah and Gouri Kishen in significant roles.
The film benefits from a talented technical crew, including cinematographer Ravivarman, music by Anirudh, editing by Pradeep Ragav, and action sequences choreographed by renowned stunt master Peter Hein.
