Mumbai, Sep 11 (NationPress) - As his film “Angaar” reached its 33rd anniversary in Hindi cinema on Thursday, seasoned Bollywood actor Jackie Shroff marked the occasion on social media.
Jackie shared several clips from the film that debuted in 1992 and was helmed by Shashilal K. Nair on his Instagram stories.
In his caption, Jackie kept it simple with: “#33yearsofangaar.”
The film features Jackie Shroff and Dimple Kapadia in lead roles, along with supporting actors like Nana Patekar, Om Puri, Kader Khan, and Kiran Kumar. It was rumored to be inspired by the life of Karim Lala.
“Angaar” tells the tale of a slum resident who clashes with thugs working for a builder aiming to clear the area. He ultimately finds himself in a battle against one of Mumbai's most formidable underworld families.
