Hyderabad, Feb 13 (NationPress) The team behind director Abhishek Nama's eagerly anticipated mythological action film 'Nagabandham', featuring actor Virat Karrna in the leading role, has unveiled Jagapathi Babu's character look in the movie, confirming he plays a role named Prabhakar.

Jagapathi Babu took to his social media accounts to share the first look poster of his character, which was released by the filmmakers. He captioned it, "Here’s my look as #Prabhakar from #NAGABANDHAM. Teaser on February 15th | 11:11 AM. @viratkarrna @nikstudiosindia @abhishekpictures @abhisheknaama."

Recently, the creators also disclosed Rishabh Sawhney's look as the formidable Abdali in the film.

Sources from the film unit indicate that Rishabh Sawhney, recognized for his impressive performance in Bollywood’s 'Fighter', has delivered a stellar portrayal in 'Nagabandham', where he embodies the notorious Afghan Sultan Abdali.

Set in the year 1750, the film narrates Abdali's invasion of India, highlighting his infamous acts of plundering temples and his insatiable quest for wealth.

In 'Nagabandham', Abdali is illustrated as an ambitious and brutal figure, willing to sacrifice countless lives, including those of Brahmins and children, to locate the legendary Naga Bandham hidden within the Himalayas. His character is a significant and grim part of history, notorious for his extreme cruelty.

Director Abhishek Nama commended Rishabh’s performance, stating that his portrayal is so convincing that it feels as if the historical Abdali has come to life on screen. "Rishabh has transformed into this intricate character, infusing depth and intensity into the role," he remarked.

Rishabh expressed, "I am privileged to portray such a challenging character as Abdali. My goal was to encapsulate the complexities and motivations of this historic figure while being faithful to the essence of the story."

The film stars Nabha Natesh and Iswarya Menon in leading female roles, supported by seasoned actors Jagapathi Babu, Jayaprakash, Murali Sharma, and BS Avinash, who deliver powerful performances.

With the exceptional technical skills of Soundar Rajan S behind the camera, RC Pranav managing the editing, and Ashok Kumar crafting the grand production design, 'Nagabandham' is expected to offer a captivating visual spectacle on the big screen.
