Mumbai, Sep 30 (NationPress) Actress Janhvi Kapoor, who is gearing up for her role in the upcoming comedy 'Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari', has shared insights about the most entertaining co-actor on set.
During an exclusive chat with IANS ahead of the film's release, Janhvi was asked, “With such a large ensemble, who brought the most entertainment to the set?”
She replied, “Definitely Maniesh Paul. He’s not only a remarkable actor but also an incredible human being. He would step out of his vanity van completely in character and perform—regardless of whether the camera was rolling!”
Director Shashank Khaitan supported this view, noting that Maniesh's energy kept the atmosphere lively with his humor and commitment.
“He often joked, ‘Shashank, whether you call it cut or not, I will keep performing until I reach my van.’ He genuinely meant it, continuing to perform even during breaks,” Khaitan shared, calling Paul the heartbeat of the shoot.
While Paul's enthusiasm was evident, Varun Dhawan also had his own take when asked about who entertained the cast the most: “That would be Janhvi,” he remarked.
“Even when she wasn’t trying to be funny, she managed to entertain all of us,” he noted, highlighting the camaraderie that maintained high spirits throughout filming.
Reflecting on the significance of the project, Janhvi described it as a dream opportunity, saying, “I have longed to participate in a commercial family entertainer, and no one does it better than Shashank. I made my debut with him in Dhadak, and in a way, this film marks my debut in this genre too. Teaming up with Varun in this space has been a wonderful experience,” she stated.
“Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari”, featuring Varun Dhawan, Janhvi Kapoor, Rohit Saraf, Sanya Malhotra, and Maniesh Paul in pivotal roles, is set to release on October 2.
