Los Angeles, May 1 (NationPress) Hollywood star Jenna Ortega shared that she always believed she possessed thick skin; however, her sensitivity drives her passion for acting. The talented actress expressed a desire to create music under a pseudonym, intentionally distancing herself from public acknowledgment of her work.

In a conversation with The Weeknd for V magazine, she stated, "I used to always think that I have thick skin, but the reason why I do what I do is because I’m sensitive. I don’t think that I have the strength to participate in the music industry."

"If I were to ever create music, it would be under an alias, and I wouldn’t discuss it publicly. It would solely be for my personal enjoyment. Composing music is a dream of mine. I feel a strong need to learn the piano; it’s frustrating that I haven’t yet, as it plays a crucial role in film, shaping its narrative and essence."

"I’m unsure if it stems from my upbringing in a bustling household or the crowded nature of my thoughts, but my love for sound is undeniable. I’m not fond of silence. I would love to explore this musical avenue, even if I never release anything or compose for a film I direct."

The “Wednesday” actress believes that actors can "conceal" themselves behind their characters rather than exposing their true selves and drawing from personal experiences for inspiration, as reported by femalefirst.co.uk.

She remarked, "Musicians are expected to present a more authentic reflection of themselves, drawing inspiration from their lives. While actors do this too, we often hide behind our roles."

Reflecting on celebrity culture, she added, "We elevate public figures to such high statuses, treating them as if they possess extraordinary abilities, which is unrealistic and unfounded."

Ortega worked diligently before her rise to fame, which skyrocketed after her role in “Wednesday”. Although she considers it a dream role, she misses the "grind" and "struggle" of auditioning and competing for roles.

She expressed, "While I’m immensely grateful for my success, the pressure is significant. I miss the hustle and the excitement of the journey. There’s a unique thrill in the actor's struggle, like sleeping in cars, driving around LA for auditions, and the anxiety of waiting for weeks, fearing I wouldn’t land my desired role."
