Chennai, Jan 17 (NationPress) Actor Jiiva, who stars in the recently launched comedy film 'Thalaivar Thambi Thalaimaiyil' directed by Nithish Sahadev, has expressed his heartfelt gratitude to fans. He noted that "each message and every word of support" received from audiences has profoundly impacted him.

The movie, which debuted on January 15 for Pongal festivities, has made a significant impression at the box office, bolstered by favorable reviews from critics and enthusiastic audience recommendations.

On Saturday, Jiiva took to his X timeline to share his appreciation for the audience's backing for his film. He wrote, "To all my supporters, I am truly overwhelmed by the immense love and warmth directed at 'Thalaivar Thambi Thalaimaiyil'. Every message, every word of support has touched me deeply. And yes, all the memes about me too. Extra love to all edits. They came with love, support, and they are making this journey even more special. Just a day prior, Jiiva shared, "I’m genuinely thrilled to kick off the New Year by presenting a film that holds a special place in my heart. My latest project, 'Thalaivar Thambi Thalaimaiyil', premiered yesterday and has already garnered fantastic responses from audiences everywhere. This film marks Jiiva's 45th project, filmed over 45 days in a picturesque village in the Western Ghats.

Produced by Kannan Ravi, the film centers around events leading up to a wedding and was primarily shot during nighttime.

Jiiva revealed that they had initially aimed for a January 30 release but decided to move it up to coincide with the festival due to a gap left by the postponed release of the Vijay-starrer 'Jana Nayagan'.

In an interview with IANS, Jiiva explained, "The story revolves around a conflict that arises between two families, and I portray a village Panchayat chief who mediates the issues between them."

Alongside Jiiva, the film features actors such as Thambi Ramaiya, Ilavarasu, Prathana Nathan, Jensen Dhivakar, Jaiwanth, Meenakshi, Sarjin Kumar, Rajesh Pandian, Subash Kannan, Amith Mohan, Anuraj OB, Sharath, and Savithri.

The screenplay is crafted by Sanjo Joseph, Nithish Sahadev, and Anuraj OB, with Lipin Unni serving as the creative director.

The film's music is composed by Vishnu Vijay, cinematography is handled by Bablu Aju, editing is done by Arjune Babu, and art direction is led by Sunil Kumaran.
