Mumbai, March 3 (NationPress) Bollywood action star John Abraham, who is eagerly anticipating the premiere of his forthcoming film ‘The Diplomat’, shared his experiences of closely observing Indian diplomat J.P. Singh during their meeting on the film set.
The movie draws inspiration from actual events, with the actor taking on the role of an Indian diplomat tasked with rescuing an Indian woman from Pakistan. John also provided insights into the workshops he participated in for character preparation, emphasizing their impact.
Reflecting on his observations of J.P. Singh, he remarked: “J.P. Singh sir visited the set, and I paid close attention to his body language and manner of speaking—very sweet, simple, yet akin to a chess player, as he seems to think 10 steps ahead.”
“In essence, he speaks with ease, but he has already mapped out his next 10 moves—and that exemplifies how a diplomat operates.”
During an interview with IANS, John confessed to experiencing geo-political anxiety, comparable to the environmental concerns many face today.
In discussing the recent bombings in Damascus, John expressed, “Just as Damascus was beginning to stabilize! What went wrong? I suffer from this geo-political anxiety, similar to how people have environmental anxiety; I worry about the state of the world.”
Set to release on March 14, 2025, The Diplomat is produced by Bhushan Kumar & Krishan Kumar (T-Series), John Abraham (JA Entertainment), Vipul D. Shah, Ashwin Varde, Rajesh Bahl (Wakaoo Films), and Sameer Dixit, Jatish Varma, Rakesh Dang (Fortune Pictures/Seeta Films).
