Portraying a high-ranking government official, John promises to take audiences on an exhilarating journey packed with dramatic intensity and electrifying moments.

Directed by the renowned Shivam Nair and penned by Ritesh Shah, “The Diplomat” aims to provide a remarkable cinematic adventure.

The film is backed by T-Series, Bhushan Kumar & Krishan Kumar; John Abraham from JA Entertainment; Vipul D Shah, Ashwin Varde, Rajesh Bahl from Wakaoo Films, Sameer Dixit and Jatish Varma of Fortune Pictures, and Rakesh Dang of Seeta Films.

The actor was last featured in “Vedaa”, an action-packed drama directed by Nikkhil Advani and scripted by Aseem Arora. The film, also inspired by true events, stars John Abraham and Sharvari in lead roles, along with Abhishek Banerjee, Ashish Vidyarthi, Kumud Mishra, Rajendra Chawla, Tanvi Malhara, Anurag Thakur, and Urvashi Dubey.

It narrates the story of a young woman who embarks on a resistance journey against an oppressive system, facing an adversary intent on maintaining it.

In addition to “The Diplomat”, John will also appear in “Tehran”, directed by Arun Gopalan and produced by Dinesh Vijan. He will star alongside actress Manushi Chhillar in this geo-political narrative.

Earlier this month, actor Rohit Roy shared the insightful dieting tips he received from John.

In an old video, Rohit is seen discussing with Cyrus Broacha on the latter’s podcast. He recounted, “I’ll share a story about John. While filming “Mumbai Saga”, another actor, Shaad Randhawa, who owns the upscale Mumbai restaurant Bayroute, would often order food. Naturally, when John Abraham called for lunch, a lavish spread of kebabs and exquisite dishes would arrive.”

He continued, “However, John would not touch a single item and instead, he would make us devour the entire meal. He is a vegetarian. After a couple of days, we realized he wasn’t eating but was instead feeding us. He then advised, ‘Don’t worry about indulging today; just skip carbs tomorrow.’ This was his serious advice.”

“So, if you indulge one day, simply avoid carbs the next day,” he concluded.
