Los Angeles, Oct 2 (NationPress) Hollywood star John Stamos revealed that his seven-year-old son, Billy, is leveraging his father's celebrity status to make an impression on girls.
The 62-year-old actor, famed for his portrayal of Jesse Katsopolis in the ABC sitcom ‘Full House’ and its Netflix sequel ‘Fuller House’, shared with E! News that Billy is name-dropping him to charm girls at his new school. “He said, ‘Dad, we had to write down all our things’. The girl next to him wrote Fuller House,” he explained.
Billy proudly informed the girl of his father's role, stating, “You know, that’s my dad. My dad’s on that show. And he plays Uncle Jesse.” Stamos commented, “He’s using it with the girls.”
According to reports from ‘Female First UK’, Stamos admitted that his son enjoys using iconic lines from the sitcom to humorously tease him.
He mentioned, “He watches Full House, but he watches it to mock me. When I say, ‘Go put your Legos away’,” he retorts with Michelle Tanner’s famous line, “You got it, dude.”
Stamos humorously remarked, “He’s pulling catchphrases on me. But mocking. Not like it’s cool or anything.” Billy has become his father’s biggest critic.
Commenting on Stamos’ preparation for his upcoming performance in the Nightmare Before Christmas Concert at the Hollywood Bowl, he said, “I was just trying to learn lyrics, and he says, ‘Dad, put an image with it.’”
“I responded, ‘Shut up’. We were singing in the car, and he asked, ‘You’re gonna do a different voice, right? You’re gonna do a higher, more character-like voice?’” Stamos added.
