Juhi took to her Instagram stories, sharing a memorable still from Rishi Kapoor's final film, "Sharmaji Namkeen", which premiered posthumously in 2022.
"Chintuji... You were the most spontaneous, effortless actor ever...!! I miss all the times we rolled with laughter, when you scolded us, and the countless times you defeated me at scrabble. It was such fun working alongside you. Miss you, Chintuji. Sending a big hug wherever you are!" Juhi captioned her post.
Sharmaji Namkeen is a comedy-drama film crafted by debut director Hitesh Bhatia. The movie began production in January 2020 but faced interruptions due to Rishi Kapoor's passing on April 30, 2020. Paresh Rawal was brought in to complete Kapoor's remaining scenes.
The storyline follows Brij Gopal, who, upon retirement, embarks on a journey to explore his culinary passions, which soon garner mixed reactions from his family.
Diagnosed with leukemia in 2018, Rishi Kapoor sought treatment in New York City. After a successful year of treatment, he returned to India, only to be admitted to Sir H. N.
