Mumbai, Dec 30 (NationPress) Bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut, who is in the midst of promoting her highly anticipated film 'Emergency', opted for a vintage theme for her appearance on 'Bigg Boss 18.'
On Monday, the actress took to her Instagram to showcase her stunning vintage look while on the popular reality show. In the pictures, she radiates retro charm in an elegant, vintage-inspired top teamed with a matching skirt.
She complemented her outfit with a sophisticated hairstyle and eye-catching earrings, rounding off the ensemble with coordinated heels. Alongside the photos, Ranaut stated, 'Emergency' will release on January 17th. Catch me on 'Bigg Boss' on December 31st.'
The actress was also seen outside the 'Bigg Boss 18' house located in the film city of Mumbai. While speaking to the press, Kangana declared, 'Aaj mera rule chalega, ab sab rules break honge.'
Last year, she made an appearance on 'Bigg Boss 17' as a celebrity guest during the Weekend Ka Vaar episode to promote her film 'Tejas.' She entertained audiences by dancing with host Salman Khan and even imitated his signature style on stage.
The star of 'Tanu Weds Manu' will return to the reality show to promote her upcoming biopic 'Emergency,' where she portrays the role of former Prime Minister Indira Gandhi.
The film has received a censor certificate from the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC), provided the filmmakers make three edits and support any controversial historical claims with reliable sources.
'Emergency' marks Kangana's second directorial project after 'Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi.' After facing several delays, Kangana officially announced the new release date for her eagerly awaited film in November. The movie is now set to hit theaters on January 17, 2025. This announcement was made almost a month after Kangana revealed on social media that she had finally secured clearance from the CBFC in October, overcoming various hurdles in obtaining certification.
Kangana shared the release date on her Instagram, stating, 'January 17, 2025 – The epic tale of the nation’s most formidable woman and the moment that transformed India’s future. #Emergency – Premieres only in theaters!'
