Chennai, Feb 13 (NationPress) The team behind director Karthik Subbaraj's highly anticipated action film 'Retro', starring Suriya and Pooja Hegde, unveiled the first single from the movie, titled 'Kannadi Poove', on Thursday.
Director Karthik Subbaraj shared the link to the song on his X timeline, stating, “A Love drug from #Retro to all who 'Are... Were... will be' Someone's Valentine #KannadiPoove. This melancholic romantic track is performed by Suriya’s character while incarcerated. Composed by Santhosh Narayanan, it features lyrics by Vivek. Music director Santhosh Narayanan lends his voice to this piece, accompanied by backing vocals from Kapil Kapilan.
Santhosh Narayanan, an hour prior to the song's release, posted a video clip and expressed his satisfaction as a composer and musician with this creation.
