Los Angeles, July 10 (NationPress) Rapper Kanye West, frequently embroiled in controversies, faces serious allegations of sexual battery and sex trafficking stemming from a newly amended complaint lodged by his former assistant.
Lauren Pisciotta, who joined the rapper in 2021 as an A&R during the production of his album ‘Donda’ and later served as his personal assistant, had initially filed a lawsuit against him for wrongful termination and sexual harassment in June 2024, according to reports from ‘Variety’.
In her latest amended complaint, which has been reviewed by ‘Variety’, Pisciotta claims that West “orally raped her without her consent” and coerced her into fulfilling his sexual demands by making false promises regarding her career advancement.
West's representatives did not respond immediately to a request for comment. During Pisciotta's original lawsuit, West's lawyer described the accusations as “baseless” and indicated plans to file a countersuit.
The comprehensive list of allegations included in Pisciotta's updated complaint encompasses hostile work environment, sexual harassment, assault, battery, sexual battery, sex trafficking, failure to prevent harassment, discrimination and retaliation, gender discrimination, stalking, false imprisonment, promissory estoppel, and intentional infliction of emotional distress.
The complaint details that “Ye subjected Ms. Pisciotta to obscene comments regarding her body, insisted she wear revealing clothing, groped her regularly, forced her to witness performances of sexual acts with other women, sent her explicit photos, and repeatedly demanded her participation in his sexual encounters, which she declined. On one occasion, Ye attempted to vaginally penetrate Ms. Pisciotta with his fingers. On another occasion, he orally raped her without her consent. Both incidents occurred during her employment.”
Pisciotta further alleges that West “offered someone the chance” to have sexual relations with her in exchange for allowing him to engage with their significant other. The lawsuit highlights that West allegedly had a reputation for offering women as sexual “gifts” to men.
