Mumbai, April 6 (NationPress) Actor-comedian Kapil Sharma has unveiled a fresh poster for his forthcoming film ‘Kis Kisko Pyaar Karoon 2’.
On Sunday, the popular television star took to Instagram to share a collaborative post with the film's creators. The poster showcases Kapil alongside his on-screen bride, captured in a moment from the mandap. They are depicted with hands joined in prayer. The actress' face is hidden beneath a veil, while Kapil gazes upward, seemingly imploring the divine for assistance in a challenging situation.
In the poster, Kapil's expression appears tense, contrasting with the actress's face, which conveys a sense of joy.
In his caption, he expressed, “Wishing everyone a joyous Shri Ram Navami.”
Previously, Kapil made a cameo in the film ‘Crew’ last year, which featured stars like Kareena Kapoor Khan, Tabu, and Kriti Sanon.
The film ‘Kis Kisko Pyaar Karoon 2’ is directed by writer Anukal Goswami, who previously collaborated with Kapil on ‘The Kapil Sharma Show’ and shared writing credits on the original film from 2015. The directing duo Abbas-Mustan is producing the sequel, alongside Ratan Jain and Ganesh Jain.
In December of last year, Kapil addressed accusations of disrespecting producer-director Atlee during an episode of his streaming comedy show ‘The Great Indian Kapil Show’. The segment featuring Atlee, along with Bollywood star Varun Dhawan and actress Wamiqa Gabbi, stirred controversy due to allegations that Kapil made fun of Atlee's appearance.
One user on X remarked, “Did Kapil Sharma subtly mock Atlee's looks? Atlee replied like a pro: Don’t judge by appearance, judge by the heart.”
Kapil defended himself, asserting that he never commented on Atlee's appearance during the show. He stated, “Dear sir, can you please clarify where and when I mentioned looks in this video? Please refrain from spreading negativity on social media, thank you. (Everyone, watch and form your own opinion, don’t follow someone else's tweet blindly).”
