After experiencing the electrifying preview, filmmaker Karan Johar expressed his admiration for Yash's impressive birthday reveal.
KJo described the recent sneak peek of Toxic as remarkably impressive.

Set against the haunting backdrop of a graveyard, the clip begins with a burial service underway.
We then see Yash’s character in a vehicle with a woman, sharing a close moment. Despite a bomb placed right behind them, the duo remains completely unperturbed.
The tranquility of the cemetery is abruptly shattered by a sudden explosion and gunfire, resulting in widespread chaos. Amidst the smoke and fallen bodies, Raya makes his entrance wielding a Tommy gun and casually puffing on a cigar.

Prior to this, the creators heightened the excitement by revealing the initial looks of the leading actresses, Kiara Advani, Nayanthara, Huma Qureshi, Rukmini Vasanth, and Tara Sutaria.
Written by Yash and Geetu Mohandas and directed by Geetu Mohandas, Toxic is expected to narrate an engaging story of crime and deceit set in 1980s Goa. The narrative will center around a formidable drug cartel that influences lives amidst the state’s beautiful beaches and lively culture.
Supported by Venkat K, under the banners of KVN Productions and Monster Mind Creations, the film has been shot in both Kannada and English, with dubbed versions available in Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam, and numerous other languages.
Toxic is set for a global theatrical release on March 19, coinciding with Eid, Ugadi, and Gudi Padwa.
