Mumbai, March 23 (NationPress) Filmmaker Karan Johar has fulfilled a long-held childhood aspiration with his recent photoshoot. The director of 'Ae Dil Hai Mushkil' shared that as an overweight child, he always envisioned himself gracing the cover of a magazine, a dream that has finally been realized with his latest shoot.

KJo elaborated in his caption, "Yes, I have posed... Posing is my guilty pleasure... As a plus-sized kid, I always fantasized about being on a magazine cover... Achieving that felt like a personal triumph... What others think is their choice, but the fact is I love being in front of the camera... Vanity is fair... I also love the song choice! Thank you @jumeirah @jumeiraholhahaliisland for this beauty! Photos by the newest glamour photographer @len5bm."

The images showcase Karan in a fashionable floral robe, complemented by black shorts and stylish sunglasses. In the initial two photos, he poses on a wooden deck overlooking the ocean, while in the subsequent shots, he is seen facing the camera from within a pool.

Just yesterday, KJo provided a glimpse into his inaugural luxurious holiday in the Maldives, which was filled with “sun, sea and solace.”

On his Instagram, Karan shared a series of images. In one, he is seen seated on a wooden deck with an ocean view, looking sharp in a white, airy linen outfit, accessorized with a chunky wooden bead necklace and beige sunglasses.

Another image features KJo on the deck, striking a fashionable pose with one hand in his pocket. This was followed by a picture in a different location, leaning against a white wall with the ocean behind him, dressed in a black and white designer shirt.

“Sun… Sea….solace….. my first trip to the Maldives, and these are just some candid (yeah, right!!!) shots where I was caught off guard… Thank you to @jumeiraholhahaliisland @jumeirah for the wonderful hospitality and warmth; what a magnificent property! I can't wait to return…" the filmmaker concluded his caption.
