Los Angeles, Jan 29 (NationPress) Singer-songwriter Katy Perry is implementing new adjustments to her touring schedule as she embraces the experience of motherhood. In the household of Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom, it appears that their daughter, Daisy Dove Bloom, has assumed a leadership role.
The 40-year-old artist disclosed a significant modification she plans to make on her upcoming Lifetimes Tour due to her 4-year-old, as reported by ‘People’ magazine.
In an interview with ‘Access Hollywood’, she stated, "She'll be there for part of it, but I think what I'm really going to implement is an earlier time show. Now that I understand it, all the dynamics and all of the different variables and layers of bringing your kids out to the show.”
She added, “Sometimes those shows are on weekdays, and they go to school the next day, and they probably will have some sugar at the show, and they'll be with their friends, and everybody will be super excited, so it's going to be an 8:30 show.”
According to ‘People’, before her journey into motherhood, her typical showtime vibe was around 9:00 or 9:15 p.m., but she has come to realize that getting a child to sleep during their bedtime requires time.
Regarding potential onstage appearances from Daisy during the tour, Perry mentioned that she doesn’t expect any, though she acknowledged that her daughter is “very extroverted.”
"She's not shy and she loves to sing," Perry remarked. "I literally was checking my phone five minutes ago and she has a ukulele in her hands. So she loves music and she loves what mommy does and daddy does, and she loves seeing us happy.”
The musician is set to embark on her tour in support of her most recent studio album, 143, which was released in September 2024. The U.S. leg of the Lifetimes Tour will commence on May 7 at the Toyota Center in Houston and will take Perry to several major U.S. cities, including Chicago, Minneapolis, Denver, Las Vegas, Philadelphia, and Miami.
