Synopsis
Key Takeaways
Mumbai, Dec 14 (NationPress) Two of Bollywood's most talented actors, Anupam Kher and Boman Irani, recently reunited for a delightful meal and some laughs.
In a humorous video shared on social media, Kher inquired, "How did you find today’s food?" Boman humorously responded that the food was decent but suggested that the company could have been improved, poking fun at his friend.
A chuckling Boman added, "the company was superb sir, superb."
As they reminisced about their beloved film "Khosla Ka Ghosla", Boman mentioned that they plan to meet again in January, hinting that the highly anticipated sequel, "Khosla Ka Ghosla 2", may begin production next month.
The post was captioned, "Company could have been BETTER! Khosla meets Khurana!"
The sequel has been confirmed by producer Savita Raj Hiremath. Unlike the original, directed by Dibakar Banerjee, this time the helm will be taken by Umesh Bisht, known for his work on "Gyaarah Gyaarah" and "Pagglait".
Returning cast members include Kher, Boman, and Ranvir Shorey, while Huma Qureshi, initially attached as the female lead, has reportedly departed from the project.
The original film, produced by Savita Raj Hiremath under Taandav Films and UTV Motion Pictures, featured a story by Jaideep Sahni.
Alongside Kher, Boman, and Shorey, the film also stars Parvin Dabas, Vinay Pathak, and Tara Sharma in significant roles.
"Khosla Ka Ghosla" narrates the journey of Kamal Kishore Khosla (played by Kher), a middle-class man from Delhi, who, along with his family, strives to reclaim their land from a builder named Khurana (played by Boman).
The film was later adapted into Tamil as "Poi Solla Porom" and into Kannada as "Rame Gowda vs Krishna Reddy".
