Mumbai, June 13 (NationPress) Actress Kritika Kamra, who has recently completed filming for Anusha Rizvi’s forthcoming project in Delhi, expressed that it was “incredibly special” to be on a set where women play roles beyond just being in front of the camera.
The film showcases a remarkable ensemble of female talent, including Juhu Babbar, Shreya Dhanwanthary, and many other experienced women actors, with women also holding significant positions behind the scenes.
Kritika remarked: “It’s incredibly special to find yourself on a set where women are not only in front of the camera but are leading every aspect, from direction to production and costumes. Collaborating with Anusha Rizvi was genuinely a gift.”
Over the years, the actress has had the opportunity to work alongside some incredible female talents both on and off the screen.

Directed by Nagraj Manjule, known for “Sairat” and “Fandry”, Matka King narrates a tale set in the gritty backdrop of 1960s Mumbai.
The series is anticipated to explore the journey of an ambitious cotton trader in Mumbai who initiates a new gambling game called Matka, which revolutionizes the city and makes a previously exclusive domain accessible to all.
The series also includes Sai Tamhankar, Gulshan Grover, and Siddharth Jadhav in prominent roles, among others. Written by Abhay Koranne and Nagraj Manjule, this project is produced by Siddharth Roy Kapur and Manjule, along with Gargi Kulkarni, Ashish Aryan, and Ashwini Sidwani, under the banner of Roy Kapur Films.
