On the professional front, Madhavan is set to star in the much-anticipated sequel of the hit series, 'Dhurandhar'.
He plays the role of IB director Ajay Sanyal in the franchise and shared insights about how nature unexpectedly altered the plan for the film’s opening scene.
Madhavan revealed on social media that the film’s director, Aditya Dhar, had envisioned a sunny day, contrasting with the somber atmosphere inside the aircraft during the scene; however, fate had other ideas.
“#Dhurandhar. Aditya always pictured this scene as taking place on a bright sunny day with clear skies to highlight the contrast between beauty and the beast within the plane. But as it turned out, I brought the rain...as I was dubbed the RAINMAN on set. Every time I arrived, torrential rain followed. However, the gloomy skies and setting worked perfectly for our first shot...sometimes it’s best to embrace what is presented to you, as a grander design may be at play,” he noted in his post.
