Chennai, Jan 23 (NationPress) Renowned Tamil film director and actor Rajkiran has issued a warning to the public regarding fraudsters who might try to deceive individuals using photographs taken with him.

In an extensive post written in Tamil on Facebook, Rajkiran, known for his iconic films like ‘En Rasavin Manasile’ and ‘Aranmanai Kili’, stated, “It is quite ordinary for people to take photos with me since I am an actor. Some individuals pose with me pretending to be directors or producers, while others claim to be fans or admirers.”

“If you encounter anyone using such photographs with me to approach you, claiming they are my relatives or acquaintances, exercise caution in your interactions. Be vigilant, regardless of their reason for contacting you,” Rajkiran advised.

The actor recounted an incident from several years ago involving a man who introduced himself with a specific name and expressed an interest in producing a film with him. After taking pictures, the man never contacted him again nor did he produce a film.

“This incident took place seven or eight years ago. I have now learned that this individual, under a different name and using the photos from that time, has attempted to deceive another person named Thalapathy,” Rajkiran explained.

Emphasizing his independence, he stated, “I do not entertain any endorsements. No endorsements will influence my decisions regarding my projects.”

“The purpose of this post is to ensure that no one gets cheated using the photos they have taken with me,” the actor concluded.
