Chennai, April 18 (NationPress) The creators of director Mathimaran Pugazhendi's forthcoming film, 'Mandaadi', starring actor Soori in the lead role, have officially welcomed actress Mahima Nambiar, renowned for her impactful roles in Tamil cinema such as 'Asuraguru', 'Magamuni', and the biopic of Sri Lankan cricketer Muthaiah Muralidharan, '800'. The film also welcomes actor Sathyaraj.
On their social media platforms, R S Infotainment, the film's production company, extended a heartfelt welcome to the talented @mahima_nambiar, stating, "A warm welcome to the charming and talented @mahima_nambiar as she enters the world of #Mandaadi." They also expressed their honor in welcoming #Sathyaraj to the team.
Earlier in the day, the producers, after unveiling the film's title, revealed that actress Sachana and prominent Kannada actor Achuyuth Kumar have also joined the cast.
The title poster released earlier today depicted a ship engulfed in flames on the ocean.
Actor Soori shared the title poster on his X timeline, stating, "Mandaadi. When the sea carries secrets, the fire will tell us stories. First Look from Tomorrow." He added in Tamil, "When the sea, which is boundless, harbors endless secrets, only the fire can narrate its tales."
The film features an outstanding technical crew, with actor and music director G V Prakash Kumar responsible for the soundtrack, and S R Kathir handling the cinematography. Editing will be done by Pradeep E Ragav, while Peter Hein will choreograph the action sequences.
Soori will portray the titular character in Mandaadi, which will have sound design by Prathap and visual effects managed by a team led by Harihara Suthan. Choreography for the film's dance sequences will be handled by Azar.
Esteemed director Vetrimaran will serve as the creative producer for this project, which is being produced by Elred Kumar of R S Infotainment.
