Mumbai, May 3 (NationPress) In response to the shocking Pahalgam attack, activist Faizan Ansari has taken a provocative stance by placing posters of the famous Pakistani actress Mahira Khan on the walls of municipal public toilets in Mumbai.
When approached for comments, Faizan stated to IANS, "As I have mentioned previously, Pakistan bears full responsibility for the Pahalgam assault. I have initiated this campaign to place images of the Pakistani superstar Mahira Khan in public toilets across Mumbai, aiming to convey that the entirety of Pakistan is only fit for cleaning toilets."
He emphasized that his actions serve as a warning to Pakistan regarding potential future repercussions. "The entire world will witness this image on the toilet wall. I want Pakistan to understand that if you provoke India again, we will retaliate decisively. Currently, we have merely halted your water supply, but we may also disrupt your food supply in the future," Faizan remarked.
The activist plans to extend this campaign by including posters of other Pakistani celebrities such as Hania Aamir and Fawad Khan in Mumbai's public toilets.
Previously, the accounts of renowned Pakistani artists including Mahira Khan, Hania Aamir, Fawad Khan, Atif Aslam, and Ali Sethi, known for 'Pasoori', were banned in India.
On their Instagram pages, a message reads, "Account not available in India. This is due to our compliance with a legal request to restrict this content."
The rising tensions between India and Pakistan have been exacerbated following the terror attack in the Baisaran valley of Pahalgam, where at least 26 tourists lost their lives.
In the meantime, Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi has granted the defense forces the authority to determine the appropriate mode, timing, and strategy for action against Pakistan in light of the Pahalgam incident.
