A source from the industry has unveiled fresh insights regarding Malavika's latest venture. The actress has commenced shooting the second phase of her eagerly awaited film Sardar 2 in Dindigul, Tamil Nadu. She is reportedly working on some high-stakes, action-filled sequences.
The insider disclosed, “Malavika is presently filming the next phase of Sardar 2, a significant Tamil feature starring Karthi. She recently kicked off a new shooting schedule in Dindigul, Tamil Nadu. Malavika is capturing some intense forest sequences.”
Directed by P. S. Mithran, ‘Sardar 2’ is the much-awaited sequel to the successful 2022 film of the same name featuring Karthi and directed by PS Mithran. The action drama, which also stars SJ Suryah, continues the gripping tale of espionage, action, and drama.
The original ‘Sardar’, a captivating spy action thriller, showcased Karthi in dual roles as a father and son. The narrative followed a cop determined to break free from the shadows of being the son of a national traitor, uncovering his father's concealed secrets and a larger conspiracy.
Malavika, who made her initial appearance with Yudhra alongside Siddhant Chaturvedi, is also preparing for her Telugu film debut.
