The actor is set to take on the lead role in Kudumbasthan, where he will depict the head of a middle-class household. He expresses no concern about frequently representing characters from such backgrounds.

In fact, two of Manikandan's films that became significant hits -- Good Night and Lover -- featured him as a young person from a middle-class family.

Manikandan remarks, “There’s always something beautiful and unique about middle-class families. If you analyze 10 (middle-class) families with similar backgrounds, you will find ten distinct stories. Even the slightest event in their daily lives can be intriguing. The same applies to ‘Kudumbasthan,’ as its narrative and concept differ completely from my earlier films.”

Discussing the film’s director, Rajeshwar Kalisamy, Manikandan shares, "I have long admired Rajeshwar Kalisamy since his time with Nakkalites. He has pioneered a fresh wave in entertainment, gaining the affection of audiences everywhere. We decided to work together on this project even before Good Night was released. Rajeshwar has a remarkable talent for blending humor with realistic themes. I am confident that post the release of ‘Kudumbasthan,’ Rajeshwar will be cherished not only by cinema lovers but also by producers and industry experts."

The actor concludes by stating, “Kudumbasthan features a relatable narrative for viewers. I hope they enjoy watching the film with their friends and family.”
