Mumbai, Feb 28 (NationPress) Actress Manjari Fadnnis has shared her excitement about resuming her training in Indian classical music. The talented actress, who officially embarked on her musical journey last year, stated to IANS, “Everything is progressing well! I restarted my Indian Classical Music Training on January 2 with my music teacher Sucheta Bhattacharjee. I am truly eager about my music journey that began last year and have numerous plans for it.”
“Currently, I am focusing on that while anticipating the release of my film Pune Highway. I am just awaiting the official announcement of the release dates. Besides work, I enjoyed a lovely time in Goa with my family and a close friend. Overall, it has been a fulfilling start to this year,” she added.
Alongside her acting ventures, Fadnnis also discussed her musical projects, revealing that a single named "Titli Ki Aawargi", composed by her close friend Gourav Dasgupta, will be released soon, along with several other singles.
Manjari also talked about a recent photoshoot in a red sari and explained its concept. “I want to give credit to M. Fahim. The idea was his! He’s a dear friend and an exceptional photographer. Fahim aimed to create something entirely unique, something the audience has never seen me in before. He envisioned a concept involving Fire, Water, and Rain—capturing me in a personal, introspective moment, simply enjoying nature, completely unfiltered and without makeup.”
She continued, “I had never engaged in anything like this before, and it was a fantastic opportunity to explore new facets of myself. I’ve always aspired to shift perspectives about who I am and challenge the stereotypes people may have formed. That’s when M. Fahim proposed his brilliant idea. We were both excited by the feedback we received. It was incredibly overwhelming and exceeded our expectations. I’m so thankful for the love and appreciation!”
On the work front, Manjari was recently featured in the thrilling series 'The Freelancer', created and written by Neeraj Pandey. The series also stars Mohit Raina, Anupam Kher, Kashmira Pardeshi, and Navneet Malik.
