Is Mari Selvaraj's Next Film with Dhanush?

Chennai, July 21 (NationPress) Director Mari Selvaraj, currently anticipating the launch of his sports drama 'Bison Kaalamaadan', has revealed that his next venture will be alongside actor Dhanush.

At a recent event, Mari Selvaraj expressed, "I will be collaborating with Dhanush sir next. We committed to this film during the production of Karnan. The film has faced delays for various reasons. It is an ambitious project. I aspire to narrate a simple tale in a grand manner, and this film embodies that vision. I believe it will be a significant milestone in my career, and work is already underway."

Meanwhile, Bison Kaalamaadan, starring Dhruv Vikram, is set to be released on October 17 this year.

Mari Selvaraj described the film’s release date, stating, "Theepidithu eriyum vanathirkul irundhu theepizhambaai deepavalikku varugiran thekkathi kaalamaadan. (From a burning forest emerges Kaalamaadan like a spark for Deepavali)."

He also proclaimed, "A film for the festive season! A film for celebrations! Bison is coming with a bang! Releasing this October 17th during Diwali! A story of perseverance, determination, and survival! #BisonKaalamaadan."

The first look of Bison was unveiled in March this year. This film is produced by Applause Entertainment in collaboration with director Pa Ranjith's Neelam Studios.

Sources close to the project suggest that Bison will showcase an electrifying sports drama. Dhruv Vikram takes on the role of a Kabaddi player, with Anupama Parameswaran playing the female lead.

Additionally, the film is said to be inspired by real events, depicting a gripping narrative of passion, resilience, and triumph.

With Mari Selvaraj’s dynamic storytelling, Bison is anticipated to be a landmark Tamil film that will leave audiences feeling inspired and exhilarated.

Lead actor Dhruv Vikram, who has invested immense effort in his role, shared an emotional post on Instagram upon wrapping up filming, stating, "After years of preparation, several months of filming, shedding blood, sweat, and tears, BISON is officially complete. The journey has transformed my life. Thank you @mariselvaraj84 Sir for enriching my soul and providing me with an unforgettable experience."

The film will also feature notable actors such as Lal, Pasupathy, Rajisha Vijayan, Hari Krishnan, Azhagam Perumal, Aruvi Madhanand, and Kalaiyarasan in significant roles.

Bison Kaalamaadan features music by Nivas K Prasanna and cinematography by Ezhil Arasu K. The editing is handled by Sakthi Thiru, with joint production by Sameer Nair, Deepak Saigal, director Pa Ranjith, and Aditi Anand.
