Masaba Gupta's Granddaughter Receives Her Name

Mumbai, Jan 13 (NationPress) Actor and designer Masaba Gupta has recently stepped into motherhood as she welcomed her adorable baby girl with her husband Satyadeep Mishra. The head of 'House of Masaba' took to social media to disclose the name of her precious little one.

Masaba Gupta and Satyadeep Mishra have chosen to name their darling daughter Matara. On her official Instagram account, she shared an image showcasing her hand adorned with a golden bangle, paired with her daughter's tiny hand. The bangle featured the name Matara beautifully inscribed on it.

In her caption, Masaba Gupta elaborated on the significance of the name, stating, "3 months with my Matara..The name represents the divine feminine energies of nine Hindu goddesses, honoring their strength and wisdom. Also, the star of our eyes." In response to her post, soon-to-be mother Athiya Shetty commented with two red hearts and an evil eye emoji. Many others also poured in with affectionate comments.

The designer recently held an AMA session on her Instagram, where a follower inquired about her healing process post-delivery. In her response, Masaba Gupta expressed, "I wish I had given myself a bit more time." She further mentioned that she regretted returning to work before completing her 40 days of postpartum recovery.

For those unaware, Masaba Gupta and Satyadeep Mishra welcomed their first child on October 11, 2024. They announced her pregnancy on April 18, 2024, with a joyous joint post that read, "In other news - Two little feet are on their way to us! Please send love, blessings, and banana chips (plain salted ONLY) #babyonboard #mom&dad (sic)."

Masaba Gupta married actor Satyadeep Mishra on January 27, 2023.

On a different note, Masaba Gupta's latest screen appearance was in the romantic anthology series, 'Modern Love Mumbai'. Aside from acting, she also runs her own fashion label called 'House of Masaba'.
