Reflecting on the Indian film industry, the 'Stranger Things' star noted her concern regarding the separation between these two cinematic worlds and her aspiration for more collaboration.

In a conversation with IMDb, Hawke stated that collaborating with Bollywood stars would be a remarkable opportunity, citing their exceptional work.

Regarding her thoughts on the Indian film industry, Hawke remarked, “The Indian film landscape is vast, stunning, and extraordinary. It saddens me how segregated Hollywood and Bollywood remain, and I yearn to see them merge more frequently. I would cherish the chance to contribute to a project that bridges these two cultures.”

“The experience would be phenomenal, and I would be immensely privileged to collaborate with those who create such beautiful films,” she added.

On her career front, Hawke is set to appear in the concluding season of the acclaimed series, 'Stranger Things', alongside co-stars Caleb McLaughlin, Finn Wolfhard, Charlie Heaton, Joe Keery, and Natalia Dyer.

Co-star Wolfhard reminisced about memorable moments from the show, sharing how the Duffer Brothers infused the set with music from the 80s to maintain that nostalgic vibe.

He recalled, “The Duffer Brothers would occasionally play scores from various films, including notable Spielberg and Carpenter scores.”

Co-star McLaughlin added, “They often played tunes like Snowball, Time After Time, and The Police. This musical backdrop was essential, evoking nostalgia and stirring conversations about it.”

Wolfhard chimed in, stating, “Music plays a significant role in the show, with the opening and title themes drawing everyone in.”
