This cinematic piece is a remake of the director's own earlier Telugu film of the same title and is categorized under the art house genre, often referred to as parallel cinema in India.
“Swati” revolves around the life of Sharda, who, after facing severe hardships, opts to leave her village for a fresh start alongside her daughter Swati. As the story unfolds, Swati emerges as an independent woman who stirs up challenges.
