Mumbai, July 21 (NationPress) Actress Mouni Roy recently shared her thoughts on her much-anticipated spy thriller project, “Salakaar”. She expressed that what captivated her most was the script’s remarkable talent for intertwining political intrigue with profoundly personal and intimate scenes.

Mouni remarked, “Joining Salakaar was an incredible chance to immerse myself in a world I’ve never explored before. The narrative's intensity and emotional depth pushed me to elevate my craft as an artist.”

The creators recently released a teaser, which spans two timelines—1978 and 2025. This series merges history with suspense, positioning intelligence as its strongest weapon.

It features a talented cast, including Naveen Kasturia, Mouni Roy, Mukesh Rishi, and Surya Sharma.

Inspired by actual events, Salakaar narrates the story of a decorated spymaster who, driven by sheer determination and critical intelligence, successfully neutralizes enemy forces to protect national security while uncovering a clandestine nuclear facility in Pakistan.
