Chennai, April 5 (NationPress) The crew of director Sathya Siva's highly anticipated Tamil film 'Arivu', which recently wrapped up its initial shooting schedule in Munnar, has taken the initiative to renovate a local government school, much to the joy of the community.
Insiders from the film’s production, featuring Vijay Kumar of Uriyadi fame alongside Kayal Anandhi, disclosed that some scenes were filmed at a government school located in Letchmi, near Ottapaarai in Munnar.
During their time at the school, the team observed that the institution lacked essential facilities for its students. In response, producer Sai Vinod Jayakumar decided to take action to enhance the school's amenities, according to sources.
The renovation included a fresh coat of paint and the installation of drinking water facilities. This kind-hearted deed by the film crew has received commendations from both the students and the local populace.
Having completed the first phase of filming in Munnar, the crew is currently busy with the second schedule in Theni.
'Arivu' promises a compelling narrative centered on women's rights. In addition to Vijay Kumar and Anandhi, the cast includes I M Vijayan, Deepa Shankar, and Singam Puli in significant roles.
Sathyasiva, who is responsible for the story and screenplay, is renowned for his ability to convey impactful social messages through engaging cinematic storytelling. The film is being produced by Sai Vinod Jayakumar under the Movietron Productions banner.
From a technical perspective, the film's music is being composed by D. Imman, with cinematography by Dil Raju and editing by Vetri Krishnan. The art direction is managed by S K Ramu.
According to sources, the production team aims to finalize shooting before the Tamil New Year.
