Mumbai, April 20 (NationPress) After demonstrating her skills as an actor, Nanda Yadav has now made her mark as a producer with her upcoming film titled "Hawks."
Directed by Deepankar Prakash, this film features an intriguing cast including Barun Sobti, Rajshri Deshpande, Yashpal Sharma, Ashish Vidyarthi, Rajendra Gupta, and Resh Lamba in prominent roles. The shooting for "Hawks" has recently wrapped up in Jaipur.
Produced by Nanda & Michael Grobe’s production company, Nayamigro Fashion Media, and in collaboration with Pranay Garg from Neeljai Films and Nishesh Tripathi, "Hawks" aims to explore the perilous and shadowy realm of the money-interest mafia—a realm where loyalty is a form of currency and survival is uncertain.
Reflecting on her new endeavor, Nanda stated, “This isn’t just a film; it’s a story that needed the light of day. I’ve always believed cinema should entertain, but also awaken. HAWKS does both — it’s punchy, pacy, and speaks to a deeper truth.”
The film is currently in post-production and is anticipated to be released later this year. More information about the drama will be shared in due course.
Nanda is widely recognized for her roles in projects such as “The Letters,” “Why Cheat India,” and “Shiksha Mandal,” among others.
Additionally, her critically acclaimed drama, "Shantiniketan", was showcased at the 16th Bengaluru International Film Festival.
Describing it as a ‘special moment,' Nanda expressed, “This is a special moment for me and my director Deepankar Prakash that our first film together, "Shantiniketan,” is out to receive all the love. I have worked very hard for this project, and it is always a good feeling as an actor that your work is being appreciated and recognized critically as well as in front of a large audience. I am looking forward to the screening of Shantiniketan, and I am confident that people there will enjoy watching this. Looking forward to everyone's love and feedback.”
Nanda also received a special jury mention for 'best actress' for "Shantiniketan" at the Ajanta Ellora International Film Festival.
