Singer Neeti Mohan has released a brand-new devotional track, 'Bappa Ghar Aaye', just ahead of Ganesh Chaturthi, the festival marking the arrival of Lord Ganesha. The song, now streaming on all major music platforms, captures the communal joy and spiritual fervour that define the ten-day celebration across India.

'Bappa Ghar Aaye' is built around the warmth of welcoming Bappa into one's home — the sweets shared, the prayers offered, and the friends and family who gather during the festival. Instrumentation draws heavily from traditional festive elements, with dhol, nagade, and flute woven through the arrangement to evoke the sights and sounds of a Ganesh Chaturthi procession.

'We all wait for Bappa to come every year, and for everyone who celebrates Ganesh Chaturthi, it becomes a big celebration of praying together, meeting friends, eating sweets, visiting each other's homes, and just coming together,' Neeti said. 'I think putting that feeling together is why we created Bappa Ghar Aaye.'

A Track Born in 24 Hours

What makes the song particularly striking, according to Neeti, is the speed at which it came together. The singer revealed that the entire project — from writing the lyrics and recording the vocals to shooting the music video — was completed within a single day.

'The most amazing thing about Bappa Ghar Aaye is that it mysteriously happened in just 24 hours; from writing the song and recording it to shooting the music video. It feels like a blessing and a miracle. Sometimes you just leave things to destiny, and I'm so happy that a song like this came to light on its own,' she said.

The devotional number has been scored by Shaan Lochan Singh, with lyrics penned by Kanishk Sahar. Neeti described the final product as both melodic and musically rich, noting that the traditional instrumentation was retained to keep the celebration authentic.

'It's very melodic, but at the same time, with the dhol, nagade, flute, and everything playing, we've kept it very musical and rich. The song is really a celebration of Lord Ganesha and the faith we put in him through our prayers,' she added.
