Mumbai, Feb 11 (NationPress) Actor Neil Nitin Mukesh revisited his childhood memories by enjoying the classic film “Mrs. Doubtfire”, a beloved 1993 movie featuring Robin Williams.

Neil shared a clip on his Instagram stories, capturing the moment he watched the iconic film on his laptop.

“Returning to my 11-year-old self,” he captioned the post.

“Mrs. Doubtfire”, directed by Chris Columbus, is inspired by the 1987 novel Madame Doubtfire by Anne Fine. The film features a talented cast including Sally Field, Pierce Brosnan, Harvey Fierstein, and Robert Prosky. It tells the story of a recently divorced actor who dons the disguise of an elderly female housekeeper to connect with his children.

The film earned the Academy Award for Best Makeup and the Golden Globe Award for Best Motion Picture – Musical or Comedy. Williams also won the Golden Globe Award for Best Actor in a Motion Picture – Musical or Comedy.

Neil, the son of playback singer Nitin Mukesh and grandson of singer Mukesh, began his career as a child artist in Vijay (1988) and Jaisi Karni Waisi Bharnii (1989). He made his full-fledged debut in the title role of Johnny Gaddaar in 2007, followed by roles in New York (2009), Prem Ratan Dhan Payo (2015), Golmaal Again (2017), and Saaho (2019).

At 43 years old, he made his Tamil film debut with Kaththi in 2014 and his Telugu film debut with Kavacham in 2018.

His latest project is “Hisaab Barabar”, a satirical action comedy directed by Ashwni Dhir. The film features R. Madhavan, Kirti Kulhari, Rashami Desai, and Faisal Rashid. It revolves around a railway ticket checker who discovers discrepancies in minor bank transactions, leading to the exposure of deeper systemic corruption. The film was released on January 24 on ZEE5.
