Mumbai, June 3 (NationPress) The title track for the much-anticipated film ‘Saiyaara’ was revealed on Tuesday, showcasing two fresh talents, Faheem Abdullah and Arslan Nizami, both from Kashmir, as they step into the Hindi film industry.
Director Mohit Suri disclosed that the album for ‘Saiyaara’ took an extensive five years to curate. Suri is renowned for his musical successes including ‘Zeher’, ‘Kalyug’, ‘Woh Lamhe’, the cult classic ‘Awarapan’, and the blockbuster ‘Aashiqui 2’.
Regarding the album, Mohit stated, “A little-known fact about me is my passion for discovering new composers and singers while collecting beautiful melodies, similar to how book lovers gather their favorite reads. Each song in the ‘Saiyaara’ album represents my thoughts and melodies I’ve gathered over five years.”
His goal was to deliver a remarkably fresh album filled with beautiful, soulful tunes for ‘Saiyaara’.
He elaborated, “I aimed to create an exceptionally fresh romantic album for a debut film. The ‘Saiyaara’ album is particularly dear to me, making every song feel uniquely special. We are kickstarting our marketing campaign with the release of the ‘Saiyaara’ title track, which embodies love, longing, and heart, and I fell in love with it right away.”
The title track will also debut two promising musical artists from Kashmir. Mohit shared, “The ‘Saiyaara’ title track will introduce Faheem Abdullah and Arslan Nizami, two exceptionally talented Indian composers and singers from Kashmir, to Bollywood. The track is composed by the brilliant Tanishk Bagchi, for which I am grateful to have met Faheem & Arsalan. The exquisite lyrics are penned by the talented Irshad Kamil.”
‘Saiyaara’ features Ahaan Panday as the leading man in the Hindi film industry, alongside Aneet Padda, who gained acclaim for her remarkable performance in the popular series Big Girls Don’t Cry, as the female lead.
