Mumbai, Feb 11 (NationPress) Singer Nikhita Gandhi has produced numerous chart-topping tracks such as Raabta and Poster Lagwa Do. In an exclusive interview with IANS, she was posed a question about which Bollywood actress aligns best with her vocal style.

In response, Nikhita Gandhi stated, “I believe Katrina is a perfect match. My voice complements her songs well, and I have lent my voice to several tracks for Katrina in the past. I have yet to sing for Priyanka, and I feel that would suit her voice beautifully as both actresses possess rich tones.”

Discussing her aspirations for 2025, Nikhita Gandhi shared, “I am launching a collaboration with another singer where we will be co-composing, producing, and writing our music. It will feature a unique aesthetic, allowing us to explore various styles of songs. This is something new that you can anticipate.”

When asked about her views on Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s ‘Fit India’ initiative, Nikhita expressed, “It’s a commendable effort; we must adjust our dietary habits to match our lifestyles, particularly as many of us lead sedentary lives. In Indian culture, there is a tendency to consume excessive carbs like rice and roti while eating fewer vegetables. This is a long-standing habit, but we should pay attention to our nutrition.”

The ‘Fit India’ campaign has garnered significant acclaim from various politicians, sports figures, actors, and artists alike.

During the launch of the 38th National Games in Dehradun on January 28, PM Modi highlighted the alarming rise in obesity across the nation.

Addressing the ‘Fit India Movement’, PM Modi emphasized the importance of both exercise and a balanced diet, urging a reduction of unhealthy fats and oils in our meals, and suggesting a decrease of approximately 10 percent in daily oil intake.
