Nikhita Gandhi Reflects on Her Initial Encounter with Shreya Ghoshal

Mumbai, Dec 24 (NationPress) The Pop Sensation Nikhita Gandhi recently reminisced about her initial encounter with acclaimed playback artist Shreya Ghoshal on a well-known music reality show. She revealed that their first meeting took place during a recording session for the film 'Sanju', helmed by filmmaker Rajkummar Rao.

Both Nikhita and Shreya contributed their vocal talents to two tracks for the Ranbir Kapoor-starrer Sanju, directed by Rajkumar Hirani, including the songs 'Mujhe Chaand Pe Le Chaalo' and 'Kar Har Maidan Fateh'.

Fondly recalling their recording days, Nikhita mentioned: “I remember meeting Shreya for the first time during Rajkumar Hirani’s film Sanju where we both had our songs. I was in awe as I listened to her flawless takes in the recording booth. She is among the most exceptional singers I have ever encountered.”

She further expressed, “It was wonderful to meet her again. I truly admire her as an artist and appreciate how she has refined her craft.”

Nikhita has recently showcased her popular tracks during AP Dhillon’s Brownpoint tour, which kicked off in Mumbai, and has been performing live worldwide.

The 33-year-old vocalist is also known for her work as the voice of Deepika Padukone in the title track 'Raabta' and for singing 'Ullu Ka Pattha' alongside Arijit Singh from the film Jagga Jasoos.

Her vocal talents have graced numerous Hindi films, including Sachin: A Billion Dreams, Jab Harry Met Sejal, Kedarnath, Luka Chuppi, Sooryavanshi, and Tiger 3. Additionally, Nikhita has performed Bengali and Tamil songs for movies such as Leo, Varisu, Cockpit, and Kishmish. She has delivered chart-topping hits including 'Aao Kabhi Haveli Pe', 'Poster Lagwa Do', and 'Jugnu' with Badshah, which went viral.
