Mumbai, Jan 27 (NationPress) Actress Nyrraa Banerji is set to portray a contemporary Anarkali in the forthcoming show "Akbar Birbal," and she has been diligently training in Kathak to hone her skills for the role.
For the last two months, Nyrraa has been intensively practicing Kathak. She stated, “To bring this modern take on Anarkali to life, I needed to put in extra work. I have been regularly practicing Kathak and, although I learned it during my childhood, I aimed to elevate my skills for the best performance. I continue my Kathak rehearsals after our regular play practices.”
Banerji expressed her enthusiasm, saying, “I am truly enjoying this journey and am eager for the audience to experience this distinctive rendition of Anarkali.”
The comedic historical play also features Ali Asgar, Vishal Kotian, and Delnaaz Irani. "Akbar Birbal" is penned and directed by Paritosh Painter and produced by Pramod Bokadia and Paritosh Painter.
