Los Angeles, April 1 (NationPress) Actress Olivia Munn, recognized for her roles in films like 'The Babymakers', likened the challenges of motherhood to landing on Mars.

During her appearance on 'Today with Jenna and Friends', Munn opened up about the significant transformation in her life following the arrival of her second child, daughter Méi, with her comedian husband John Mulaney.

She expressed, “Every day is an absolute joy. (Yet) it's as if I’ve just landed on Mars. This is unbelievable. How does anyone manage this?”

Munn further shared how the transition into motherhood brought her to a vulnerable moment.

“Our baby was born in September. John was busy with his Broadway rehearsals throughout the day and performing at night for two weeks, and… my three-year-old was reaching his limit,” she explained.

The pressure created some tension at home, particularly when her son Malcolm Hiep began to show signs of jealousy towards his new sister.

She remarked, “It was a lot of screaming and crying, with hurtful words being thrown. I ended up crying – a cry like I’ve never experienced before.”

Despite this tough phase, Munn described how it led to a profound realization: “I was very upset, but then I understood, and I thought, ‘If we can continue working as much as we are now, and God willing, we keep on moving and adapting, we are truly fortunate’.”
