Los Angeles, March 23 (NationPress) The frontman of Black Sabbath, Ozzy Osbourne, has unveiled grand plans for his comeback performance, even though he isn't in optimal health.
Known as the 'Prince of Darkness', Osbourne intends to perform from a throne during the event, as reported by Mirror.co.uk.
Due to his condition, the legendary Black Metal artist struggles to stand or walk unaided, but he might even soar above the audience in a specialized chair for his farewell performance at Villa Park on July 5.
Longtime friend and guitarist Zakk Wylde disclosed this surprise plan, mentioning that the Brummie will reunite with Black Sabbath and showcase his solo classics.
According to Mirror.co.uk, Wylde also suggested that the 76-year-old Osbourne might reconsider his decision to make the Aston Villa concert his last, with a potential tour in 2026 on the horizon.
"The strategy is to remain optimistic; you must always look on the bright side of life, especially since Ozzy performed at the Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame event," he stated.
"Ozzy was seated during the performance of 'Mama, I'm Coming Home', and it sounded fantastic. If all goes well, Ozzy might say, 'Let's reignite the machine and hit the road for another tour.' Imagine Ozzy on his flying throne, showering the stadium with water and other surprises. If he enjoys this experience and feels like touring again, we’ll be ready to roll!"
The Back To The Beginning concert is the most sought-after ticket, selling out in just 16 minutes.
This event marks a reunion for Ozzy, guitarist Tony Iommi, bassist Geezer Butler, and drummer Bill Ward after two decades apart.
Additional artists joining Ozzy include a supergroup featuring musicians such as Duff McKagan and Slash from Guns N' Roses, Billy Corgan, Wolfgang Van Halen, Andrew Watt, Chad Smith from the Red Hot Chili Peppers, and Sammy Hagar.
