The Black Sabbath lead singer has been facing health challenges due to a significant fall during a performance, according to ‘Mirror.co.uk’.
The 76-year-old vocalist stated he will participate in “bits and pieces” during the reunion with Black Sabbath for the event, but doubts he can complete the entire set.
As reported by ‘Mirror.co.uk’, Ozzy, who suffers from Parkinson’s disease along with issues in his legs, neck, and back, has not performed a full concert in six years. He mentioned that the show on July 5 will be his final performance.
Ozzy remarked, “I’m not planning on doing a full set with Black Sabbath, but I will be doing little bits and pieces with them. I am doing what I can, where I feel comfortable.”
The musician, often seen in a wheelchair, discussed his mobility challenges on his SiriusXM radio program Ozzy Speaks. He mentioned, “I am trying to get back on my feet... When you wake up in the morning, you just jump out of bed. I have to balance myself, but I’m not dead. I’m still actively doing things.”
Known as the Prince of Darkness, Ozzy will reunite with his Black Sabbath bandmates for an all-star, all-day charity festival at Villa Park in Birmingham, their hometown. Tickets for this historic event sold out in just 16 minutes, marking the first time the original lineup of the legendary heavy metal band has played together in 20 years.
Many Black Sabbath fans expressed frustration over ticket prices while attempting to secure their spot at this monumental concert.
