Pooja Hegde Set to Co-Star with Dulquer Salmaan in Upcoming Romantic Film

Mumbai, Dec 11 (NationPress) Actress Pooja Hegde is said to be starring alongside Dulquer Salmaan in a new romantic film.
As per an insider, the film, which is not yet titled, is slated to begin shooting next year, featuring Pooja and Dulquer in lead roles. This will be their first collaboration on-screen.
A source mentioned: “This is a romantic drama with a distinctive storyline, and the producers believe there couldn’t be a more perfect duo than Pooja and Dulquer to lead the film. Both actors possess a massive following, and their pairing is sure to create cinematic magic.”
On December 7, Pooja shared a moment with Varun Dhawan, her co-star in David Dhawan's upcoming project.
The film is tentatively called ‘Hai Jawani Toh Ishq Hona Hai’. Pooja took to the Stories section of her Instagram to showcase her fun times with Varun, posting a picture together that read, “This duo is dreaming of bread.”
She added, “Shall we post about our next schedule?”
Pooja completed the first schedule of David Dhawan's film on December 3.
The movie is expected to hit theaters in 2025, portraying Pooja in a glamorous role within a fresh and comedic narrative. The actress is balancing her time between Mumbai and Chennai, currently working on Thalapathy 69 alongside Thalapathy Vijay.
A source confirmed: “Pooja’s schedule has been hectic as she moves between cities, making sure that she gives her best to each project.”
“Her dedication and enthusiasm are truly impressive. She has completed the first filming phase and will be shooting internationally for a month early next year.”
She will also appear in the action-thriller ‘Deva’ opposite Shahid Kapoor and is involved in several significant South Indian films, including ‘Suriya 44’ and ‘Thalapathy 69’.
