Pooja Hegde Completes Initial Schedule for 'Hai Jawani Toh Ishq Hona Hai'

Mumbai, Dec 3 (NationPress) Actress Pooja Hegde has successfully concluded the first schedule of David Dhawan’s working title “Hai Jawani Toh Ishq Hona Hai”, a romantic comedy starring Varun Dhawan.
The film is anticipated to premiere in 2025 and is expected to showcase Pooja in a dazzling role within a new and comedic narrative. The actress has been balancing her schedule between Mumbai and Chennai, where she is also filming Thalapathy 69, sharing the screen with Thalapathy Vijay.
A source revealed: “It’s been a hectic schedule for Pooja as she travels between cities, making sure that each project receives her utmost effort.”
“Her dedication and enthusiasm are truly admirable. She has completed her first schedule of the film and is set to shoot abroad for a month early next year for the subsequent schedule.”
Pooja has an exciting slate for 2025. She will start the year with “Deva” alongside Shahid Kapoor. Following that, she will portray an intense character in “Suriya 44”, where she stars with Suriya. Additionally, she has “Thalapathy 69”, which is rumored to be Thalapathy Vijay's farewell film.
Last month, Pooja shared a sneak peek of the ‘Thalapathy 69’ shoot in Chennai.
She took to her Instagram story to showcase a view of Chennai, where the filming is taking place.
The actress captioned the post, “Chennai Mornings Day 16,” indicating that her day began early at 6:30 a.m., along with the hashtag #T69.
Set to release in October 2025 in multiple languages, including Tamil, Telugu, and Hindi, “Thalapathy 69” is anticipated to be a significant tribute to Vijay's legacy. The film will be directed by H. Vinoth and produced by Venkat K. Narayana under KVN Productions.
The film began with a ceremonial puja on October 4.
The creators shared photos of the cast and crew, captioning, “Pictures layum seri adha paathutu iruka unga face layum seri Happy Smiles irukunu we know #Thalapathy69Poojai stills SET 1 idhoo. Updates inum mudiyala.. SET 2 incoming” (Translation: “We know there are happy smiles by sharing pictures and looking at your boss. Updates are still pending... Set 2 Coming Soon.”)
The event brought together a remarkable cast and crew, including Thalapathy Vijay, Bobby Deol, and Pooja Hegde. Thalapathy 69 also features filmmaker-actor Gautham Vasudev Menon, National Award winner Priyamani, veteran actor Prakash Raj, and ‘Premalu’ fame actor Mamitha Baiju.
Pooja was last seen in Farhad Samji’s “Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan,” alongside Salman Khan.
