Pooja Hegde Kicks Off New Shooting Schedule for 'Thalapathy 69'

Mumbai, Dec 19 (NationPress) Actress Pooja Hegde has kicked off another shooting schedule for the eagerly awaited film 'Thalapathy 69' in Chennai.
She expressed her enthusiasm with fans by sharing a post on social media. Accompanying a tranquil view from the set, Pooja wrote, 'Chennai Mornings Day 16', indicating her early 6:30 a.m. start to the day.
'Thalapathy 69' marks Hegde's first on-screen collaboration with Vijay. The upcoming film is a significant milestone in Vijay's illustrious career. Directed by H. Vinoth and produced by Venkat K. Narayana under the KVN Productions banner, the film is poised to be a grand homage to Vijay's legacy.
The cast includes Vijay, Pooja Hegde, and Bobby Deol in prominent roles, along with Gautham Vasudev Menon, Prakash Raj, Narain, Priyamani, Mamitha Baiju, Monisha Blessy, and Varalaxmi Sarathkumar. It is anticipated to be Vijay's final film before embarking on a political career and is the studio's inaugural Tamil production.
Reports suggest that a source close to the project revealed that Vijay will portray a suspended police officer who regains his authority for a special mission.
'Thalapathy 69' is set for a global release in October 2025 across various languages, including Tamil, Telugu, and Hindi in theaters.
The film began with a traditional puja ceremony on October 4. The creators shared images of the cast and crew, captioning, 'Pictures layum seri adha paathutu iruka unga face layum seri Happy Smiles irukunu we know #Thalapathy69Poojai stills SET 1 idhoo. In addition to 'Thalapathy 69', Pooja Hegde is also set to appear in the action-drama 'Deva', alongside Shahid Kapoor, which is slated for release on January 31, 2025. The actress is also featured in 'Suriya 44', an untitled project with superstar Suriya, as well as the romantic comedy 'Hai Jawani Toh Ishq Hona Hai'.
