Mumbai, Sep 19 (NationPress) Actress Pooja Hegde revealed that she has some intriguing airport tales to share, one of which includes a “boat ride”.
Pooja took to her Instagram stories to document her journey through waterlogged streets in Chennai as she made her way to the airport. In a video, she is seen relaxing in the backseat of her car, showcasing the flooded road ahead.
“A quick boat ride to the airport… I've had some interesting airport experiences lately,” Pooja captioned the post, tagging Chennai, Tamil Nadu.
On the cinematic front, the actress recently appeared in a song titled “Monica” from the newly released film “Coolie”.
“Coolie” is an Indian Tamil-language action thriller directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj. The film features a star-studded cast including Rajinikanth, Nagarjuna, Upendra, Soubin Shahir, Sathyaraj, Shruti Haasan, Reba Monica John, Junior MGR, Monisha Blessy, and Kaali Venkat.
This film marks the first collaboration of Sathyaraj and Rajinikanth in nearly 38 years, having last appeared together in the blockbuster 'Mr. Bharath' in 1986, where Sathyaraj portrayed Rajinikanth's father. Interestingly, Sathyaraj had previously declined roles in some of Rajinikanth's films such as 'Enthiran' and 'Sivaji'.
'Coolie', which is Rajinikanth's 171st project, delves into the theme of gold smuggling. Director Lokesh Kanagaraj has confirmed that this film stands alone and is not part of his Lokesh Cinematic Universe (LCU). Pooja will soon star in Jana Nayagan, a political action thriller helmed by H. Vinoth.
This upcoming film features Vijay, Pooja Hegde, and Bobby Deol in leading roles, along with Mamitha Baiju, Gautham Vasudev Menon, Prakash Raj, Narain, and Priyamani. It is expected to be Vijay's final film prior to his political venture and marks KVN's inaugural Tamil-language production.
The film was officially announced in September 2024 under the tentative title Thalapathy 69, as it corresponds with Vijay's 69th film as a lead actor, with the official title released in January 2025.
