Preity Zinta Posts Heartwarming Photos with Her Mother, Celebrating Her Strength

Mumbai, Dec 4 (NationPress) Actress Preity Zinta delighted her followers by sharing a collection of heartwarming photos with her "best" mother, Nilprabha Zinta, and expressed that she is the strongest woman she knows.
Preity took to Instagram to share several images from a recent outing with her mother. In one touching shot, the actress is seen planting a kiss on her mother's cheek. She also included a delightful photo featuring some gelato and a delectable chocolate cake.
“Short trips around the world can be quite hectic and stressful. This Thanksgiving weekend made me realize that true wealth is having family that you genuinely love by your side. I am incredibly grateful for the best mom in the universe and for my wonderful family. Happy Belated Birthday, Ma (sic),” she expressed.

Reflecting on her early life, Preity was born in Shimla, Himachal Pradesh. Her father, Durganand Zinta, served as an officer in the Indian Army and tragically passed away in a car accident when she was just thirteen. This accident also involved her mother, who suffered severe injuries and remained bedridden for two years.
Discussing her journey in the film industry, Preity made her acting debut in 1998 with the iconic Shah Rukh Khan film “Dil Se…”. She later starred alongside Bobby Deol in “Soldier”. Her portrayal of a teenage single mother in the 2000 movie “Kya Kehna” significantly boosted her career.
Her notable filmography includes titles such as “Chori Chori Chupke Chupke”, “Dil Chahta Hai”, “Dil Hai Tumhaara”, “Kal Ho Naa Ho”, “Koi… Mil Gaya”, “Veer-Zara”, “Salaam Namaste”, and “Kabhi Alvida Naa Kehna”. In 2008, she ventured into international cinema with her first international role in “Heaven On Earth”.
The actress is set to make her comeback to the silver screen with Rajkumar Santoshi’s “Lahore 1947”, which is produced under the banner of Aamir Khan Productions and also features Sunny Deol.
